Climate Optimism as a Revolutionary Act

At Earth City Wonder, we offer immersive experiences that connect people to nature through guided walking tours, naturalist workshops, and sustainable education and business services. Our mission is to foster a deeper relationship with the natural world while supporting local economies and inspiring sustainable practices .

Founded on June 21, 2023, we champion Climate Optimism as a Revolutionary Act—one that sparks action, empowerment, and regeneration.

Our Core Philosophy

At Earth City Wonder, we are driven by a belief that climate optimism is an essential part of the solution to today’s environmental crises. This optimism doesn’t come from ignorance of the challenges we face, but from a deep understanding that nature’s regenerative capacity can guide us to a future where we live in harmony with the planet.

Whether you're looking to immerse yourself in nature tours, learn about local flora and fauna, or deepen your environmental knowledge, our workshops and tours are designed to connect people with nature and inspire sustainable living practices.

CEO/Founder

Jeremiah Pietroniro

I’m a Certified California Naturalist (2022) with a passion for bringing people closer to nature through dynamic, storytelling-based tours. As the founder of Earth City Wonder, I craft immersive experiences that fuse ecology with cultural history, offering participants a journey that awakens the senses and transforms their understanding of California’s landscapes.

In 2024, I founded the Brush Canyon Naturalist Workshop, a dedicated space for naturalists—and those aspiring to become one—to develop their skills with a hands-on approach to nature and to share knowledge in a collaborative environment.

Through sensory engagement, I guide participants to encounter the wonder of nature up close, encouraging them to tune into the world of plants, animals, and landscapes through sight, sound, smell, and touch.

I’m interested in telling stories about how ecology shapes culture, particularly in Los Angeles and California—showing how the natural world has influenced human history, how species' and place names reflect this relationship, and how landscapes have shaped cultural practices.

My work is informed by ongoing studies in ecology, history, and the natural world, and I collaborate with experts to ensure an accurate, up-to-date understanding of the region's natural and cultural history.

If I can learn about the ecology of my own backyard, you can do the same—whether you’re here in Southern California or on the other side of the world. That’s the joy of being a naturalist—it’s a journey of discovery, only limited by your own curiosity, and it’s something I’m excited to share with you!
