The Bronson Caves Tour

This tour starts in the Brush Canyon parking lot and goes up the short Bronson Caves Hike Trail to the eponymous cave used as an exterior location for the 1960s tv series starring Adam West - as well as many other Hollywood movies. This tour is the shortest tour but offers rich and unique examples of all the riparian, sage scrub, oak woodland, and chaparral communities as the longer tours - and even includes a great view of the Hollywood Sign. Like all of Earth City Wonder Tours, this tour covers the 4 major eras of Los Angeles: the pre-Colombian Tongva/Gabrielino era, the New Spain Era, the Mexico Era, and the U.S. American era - all in the context of four major ecological communities in Southern California.
